Leadoff homers
Last night I turned on the Mariners game to watch while I was barbequeing. Unfortunately I turned it on a couple minutes after the game started and missed Ichiro's leadoff homer.
I then proceeded to watch the rest of the game, which ended 1-0. I wonder how often that happens: a leadoff homer that's the only scoring in the entire game. How would you like to be the losing pitcher in that one?
